Zoomlion Ghana Limited Backs 24-Hour Economy, Poised For It’s Implementation

The Executive Chairman of the JOSPONG Group of Companies, Dr Joseph Siaw Agyepong, has expressed his company’s full support for President John Dramani Mahama’s vision of a 24-hour economy in the country.

Speaking at the 2025 Jospong Leadership Conference (JLC), he reaffirmed Zoomlion and other subsidiary’s companies on it’s readiness to play a pivotal role in implementing the policy to drive economic growth and sustainable development.

He added that his companies are confident that the 24-hour economy will brings hope for job creation, economic advancement, and environmental sustainability.

The Jospong Leadership Conference, on the theme “Transformation Through Leadership,” sought to create a new crop of leaders in the country that would impact the country positively.

Highlighting the company’s capacity and commitment to the vision, Dr Agyepong noted that, Zoomlion’s operational model is well-suited to supporting round-the-clock activities.

He continues that Zoomlion would ensure that Ghana’s cities and industries maintain the cleanliness and efficiency, which is required for a bold initiative in policy making.

Stressing that the company plans to expand its workforce and deploy innovative technologies to meet the demands of the 24-hour economy for the betterment of the country and it’s citizenry.

Dr Siaw Agyepong also admonished the various Districts and Municipal assemblies to enforce their sanitation bylaws.

Emphasising that some citizens are indiscriminately disposing of refuses anyways, and enforcement of the bylaws will help bring an end to this behaviour.
