Sawuah Nkosuohemaa Empowers Over 85 Youth with Skilled Job Training

In a remarkable display of community leadership, Sawuah Nkosuohemaa, Nana Ama Diasetipa, has empowered over 85 youth with skilled job training at Sawuah in the Bosomtwe District of Ashanti Region.

Addressing the ceremony, Nana Ama Diasetipa said this initiative aims to equip young individuals with marketable skills, enhancing their employability and economic prospects.

She continues that it is very worrying when most of the youth, after completing school, seek payment from the government and end up unemployed.

Stressing that all these burdens on the government can be reduced if most of the youth would engage themselves in these skilled job training to boost their employability without solely relying on the government for employment.

“I am committed to empowering our youth with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed. This initiative is a testament to our community’s dedication to development growth,” she added.

Nana Ama Diasetipa, Nkosuohemaa of Sawuah, urged Queen mothers to emulate her deeds for the benefit of their communities and the citizenry.

On the other hand, Nana Akosua Abrafi Afrisah II, Sawuah Hemaa advised the beneficiaries to make good use of the opportunity given to change their lives for good.

Emphasising the need for them to use social media to market themselves after acquiring these skills since it could also help generate income for them.
