Include giving back to society in your corporate social responsibility- Nana Dr Appiagyei Danka-Woso I Urges

In a benevolent gesture, Nana Dr Appiagyei Danka-Woso I, Board Member of Angel Group of Companies and former President of the Chamber of Commerce, has donated food and other items to the Kumasi Children’s Home to support the daily lives of the orphans and the less privileged at the centre.

During an engagement with the media, Nana Dr Appiagyei Danka-Woso, I explained that helping the needy and the less privileged has always been a corporate social responsibility for him.

Stressing that these children cannot be neglected in times of need, as their current situation can happen to anyone.

The Kyeame of Juaben Manhene said, this benevolent act is not only to support the orphans, but to motivate and encourage the staff who have wholeheartedly devoted their time to ensure these children are well taken care of without any regrets.

He further called on philanthropists and organisations to see the act of benevolence as a corporate social responsibility for them and ensure they support the less privileged in societies in which they find themselves.

The Board Member of Angel Group of Companies, Nana Dr Appiagyei Danka-Woso I urged the government and other individuals to contribute their quota to these children.

Emphasising that this act can help eliminate or reduce the number of children found on the street without any guidance or parents to cater for.

The Home Manageress of Kumasi Children’s Home, Miss Mabel Pinamang Amponsah, on behalf of the centre, expressed their gratitude to Nana Dr Appiagyei Danka-Woso I for the kind gesture made to the facility.

Welcoming the words of encouragement given to the staff despite the numerous challenges encountered in line with their work.

She therefore urged other individuals to emulate the good deeds and lend a helping hand to other needy and less privileged homes within their various communities or societies.
