Ghana National Fire Service Assures Foreign Investors of a Safe Business Environment
The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has reaffirmed its dedication to providing a safe and protected environment for corporate businesses and foreign investors.
This assurance was made during the launch of the fire service safety week in Assin Fosu, where DOII Paul Tawiah, the Assin Fosu Municipal Fire Officer, emphasized the importance of preventing excessive fire outbreaks to attract investors.
According to DOII Tawiah, a community plagued by frequent fire incidents can deter investors, ultimately hindering economic growth. Therefore, the GNFS is committed to protecting the environment, properties, and lives.
As part of the fire service safety week, the GNFS, in collaboration with other security agencies, including the police and immigration service, embarked on a float through the principal streets of Assiva Fosu. This exercise aimed to showcase their preparedness and readiness to respond to fire incidents.
DOII Tawiah appealed to the public for their utmost support and cooperation in preventing fire outbreaks causing harm than good to the country.
He also explained the rationale behind the fire safety week, highlighting the need for collective efforts to ensure safety with the theme: Fire Safety: A Pillar of National Development and Foundation of Our Security”.
