Bawumia And Kennedy Not Suitable to Lead NPP Come 2028- Odike Declares
The founder and leader of the United Front Party, Mr Akwasi Addai Odike, has cautioned the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to redraw Dr Bawumia and Hon. Kennedy Agyapong from contesting for the flagbearer primaries.
According to him, the two candidates are not suitable to lead the party come 2028 as they lack a lot when it comes to leadership and management skills. Stressing the need for the party to set them aside and consider another candidate for the flagbearer role.
The founder and leader of the United Front Party (UFP) continues that Dr Alhaji Bawumia had the chance to better himself when he was the vice president to lead the party but wasted and missed that opportunity due to his economic deception.
Mr Akwasi Addae Odike further added that it would be better if the NPP would restructure the party’s constitution to suit the will of the people.
“Dr Bawumia must go as he has already lost trust in the people, and Hon Kennedy Agyapong has lost his chance to lead due to his past utterances, which are still reflected in the minds of the elderly ones”, he stated.
He further described the NPP protest against the suspension of the Chief Justice as baseless as it lacks merits.
Emphasizing the need for the NPP to reflect on their deeds when they were in power, which is the result of what they are witnessing as party communicators were defending the bad deeds of Ex-President Akufo-Addo instead of putting him to bringing sanity into the separation of power.
