Atwima Trabuom Hemaa Support Trabuom R/C School with Educational Materials Aimed to Boost Teaching and Learning

The Queen Mother of the Trabuom traditional council in the Atwima Kwanwoma District of the Ashanti region, Nana Akua Nkrumah Adasa has donated some educational materials to Trabuom R/C school to boost teaching and learning in the school.

According to the Queen Mother, her late mother, Madam Mary Ofori passion for education was incomparable despite her being illiterate, and this donation was made to mark her 5th anniversary celebration and also done to fulfil her mother’s wish.

Nana Akua Nkrumah Adasa continues that this donation is not the first she has made since it is her vision and desire to see children in her community get the best quality education.

“The items that were given include 1,000 branded exercise books, 145 mathematical sets, 250 pens, 250 pencils, erasers, rulers, and many others which are aimed to support the learners”, she added.

The Queen Mother of Atwima Trabuom urged parents and guardians to prioritise their wards’ education by providing them with all the educational essentials that would guarantee them a brighter future.

The headmaster of Trabuom R/C JHS, Mr Jones Adu Gyamfi, expressed their gratitude to the queenmother for her continued support towards the school and ensuring that the learners in the community get access to quality education.

He further called on the individuals and organisations to support the school with computers and also renovate some of their classrooms as school as classes are distracted, especially whenever it rains heavily due to poor roofing.
