Atwima Nwabiagya South MCE Extends Ramadan Support to Muslim Faithful

The Municipal Chief Executive of the Atwima Nwabiagya South Municipal Assembly, Hon. Wisdom Osei Boamah, has demonstrated goodwill and religious solidarity by donating assorted food items to Muslim communities across the municipality in support of the ongoing Ramadan fast.
The donation, made earlier this week, is intended to ease the burden on Muslim families as they observe the sacred month of fasting, prayer, and spiritual renewal.

Addressing community leaders during the presentation, Hon. Boamah underscored the importance of compassion, unity, and peaceful coexistence among residents of the municipality.
He explained that Ramadan is a period of sacrifice and devotion, and it is both appropriate and necessary for leadership to show support during such a significant time.
“This gesture is to stand with our Muslim brothers and sisters during this holy season.

As they dedicate themselves to prayer and fasting, we believe it is important to support them in every way possible and encourage them to continue praying for the peace and development of our municipality,” he stated.
He further reiterated the Assembly’s commitment to inclusive leadership that recognizes and respects the diverse religious makeup of the area.
Beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the kind gesture, noting that the support would go a long way in assisting families throughout the fasting period.
The initiative has been widely regarded as a reflection of unity, tolerance, and responsive local governance within the municipality.
