Poor Road Network Affects Daily Routine and Business- Numeroso Traders and Drivers Lament

Drivers, traders, and residents of Numereso in the Amansie Central district of the Ashanti region have been crying out over the poor state of the Fenaso, Numereso, and Nipankyemia road, citing impacts on their personal lives and business.

Drivers claim the bumpy road is affecting their daily routine, which in a way is affecting their sex lives. While traders also explain the struggles they face in operating their businesses due to the rough terrain.

The drivers and traders, when sharing their concerns with the media, appeal to the government to help pave the road network to boost economic growth in the community.

The Unit Committee Secretary for Numereso, Hon Isaac Kyei Baffour Abebrese (Kunca), says the community has suffered a lot from both rainy and dry seasons after the contractor abandoned the Cocoa road project.

Stressing that with the help of Mr Benjamin Oppong, a philanthropist, the challenges faced by the community have reduced, and he is urging the government to support him in completing the road for them.

Ing Benjamin Oppong, popularly known as Benito, a philanthropist who has taken this road reshape initiative, emphasised the need for all to contribute their quota to the society in which they find themselves.

He therefore called on the government to lend a helping hand to individuals who voluntarily assist the government in every way in terms of developmental projects.
