I Won’t Be Intimidated By Your Threats- NDC Chairman Replies Opambour Over Alleged Land Dispute

The NDC Branch Chairman for Island City at Ahenema Kokoben, Reuben Solomon Jabari, has strongly stated that, he will not be intimidated by the threats of Prophet Ebenezer Adarkwa Yiadom, popularly known as Opambour over an alleged land disputes.

According to him, the said allegations that he forcibly took two plots of land belonging to the founder of Ebenezer Miracle Worship Centre, Prophet Ebenezer Adarkwa Yiadom, popularly known as Opambour is never true.

The man of God, in a recent viral video, accused Mr Solomon Jabari of seizing his land after the NDC came into power, claiming he played a key role in bringing the party to power, only to be repaid with betrayal.

In the video, Opambour warned that no one, including chiefs, should step foot on the said land if they desire peace. He even threatened to invoke divine curses upon a Chief and his family.

However, responding to the viral video on Friday, April 11, 2025, during a tour of the site, Mr Solomon Jabari dismissed the claims as false and misleading.

“I have not taken Opambour’s land. I legally acquired the two plots and I have all the necessary documents to prove ownership,” Solomon Jabari stated.

He clarified that the dispute began over two years ago, contrary to Opambour’s claims that it started when the NDC assumed power.

Mr Jabari further alleged that Opambour manipulated traditional leaders to reissue documents for the land by falsely claiming his originals were missing.

“He tricked the chiefs into believing his land papers were missing, so they reissued new ones to him,” Reuben alleged.

“Asafohene has summoned both parties to resolve the matter amicably on eight consecutive occasions, but Opambour has repeatedly declined to appear”, he stressed.

“Opambour wants to use any means, his church, and popularity to intimidate and cheat people, but I will not be intimidated,” he fumed.

“I’ll resist him with every legal means necessary.”

Mr. Solomon Jabari concluded by insisting that he would not surrender his legally acquired land to anyone, regardless of their status.
