UP Africa Movement Support Nkowi Basic School With Educational Amenities

UP Africa Movement, an online trading organization, has donated educational amenities to Nkowi Basic School in the Bosomtwe District of the Ashanti region to improve the learning conditions of the students and pupils in the school.

According to the Director of UP Africa Movement, Mr David Megga, it is very worrying when children in Nkowi Basic School have to struggle with limited educational resources, leaving many learners at a disadvantage.

He continues that, upon hearing these challenges of school children in Nkowi, the UP Africa Movement took it upon themselves to provide them with basic educational facilities such as school bags, books, pens and pencils, school uniforms, footballs and many others to improve the situation of these kids.

Mr David Megga stressed that these charity donations would not end there as they have witnessed a lot of other challenges facing the school, especially toilet, for easy convenience.

The Director of UP Africa Movement emphasized that the organization’s vision is to improve the living standards of Ghanaians, which this charity event falls within, and the company will continue to impact lives through these events.

The Headteacher of Nkowi Basic School, Mr Daniel Nyarko, expressed his gratitude to UP Africa Movement for their generosity towards the school as these items given will release some of the burden on the parents, guidance and teachers as well.

He also made a passionate appeal to the government, organizations, and other stakeholders to come to the aid of the school as they are faced with a lot of challenges that need to be addressed.

The Odikro of the Nkowi community, Nana Poku Agyapong II, said the gesture has come at the right time and will help the children.

 

He, therefore, appealed to the government to share the national cake equally among the people of the Nkowi community.
