Care Connect Global LBG Fetes Hundreds of Inmates at Manhyia Local Prisons, Widows and Street Children

Care Connect Global LBG, a non-profit organization, has brought joy and hope to hundreds of inmates at the Manhyia Local Prisons, widows, and street children in Kumasi Metropolis.

The inmates, widows, and street children were treated to a sumptuous meal and refreshing drinks.

During an interview with the media, Mrs. Beatrice Boahemaa, President of Care Connect LBG organization emphasized that the motive of the organization is to give assistance to less privileged in the society.

She further added that it’s very worrying when these people sometimes feel abandoned by the society in which they find themselves; that is why Care Connect Global LBG has taken it upon itself to restore hope to the hopeless in our various communities.

“This initiative by Care Connect Global LBG in helping the needy will be a continuous project of the organization as a way of giving back to the society in which they find themselves”, she stressed.

Mrs. Beatrice Boahemaa, President of Care Connect LBG, continued that this act of impacting lives is the organization’s first project as they officially launched Care Connect Global LBG.

 

ASP Oppong Clifford Amoako, Second in Command in charge of education at the Manhyia Local Prison, who received the food on behalf of the inmates, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Care Connect Global LBG for the support towards the inmates of the prison.

He called on the public to assist the prison in whatever way they can as the prison is faced with a lot of challenges, especially with their feeding which needs more helping hand from philanthropists, organizations, and other individuals.

Some of the widows and street children who were fetes by Care Connect Global LBG expressed their gratefulness to the organization for having them at heart and making them feel special.
